Today I thought I would I give an update on a few of my different web site projects,
- Easy Web Accessibility – Is a Information based site providing a large selection of articles, On Web Accessibility and how to make your site accessible.
- Spare Change Station – Spare Change station is a project I have started work on to try raise money for charity, For information check out the site.
- VIP Fun Online Store -The VIP Online Store offer a selection of Merchandise with Fun Messages / Comments on them, more items are added daily.
- Wobbly Eyes Shop -The Wobbly Eyes Shop contains a heap of different products with the Wobbly Eyes Logo on them from Coffee Mugs, Tshirts, Calenders.
- Wobbly Eyes Site -Wobbly Eyes has now come online at this stage the site is still Under Construction so all you can see is a Holding Page, However this site will be online in October 2010.
- Glen Bracegirdle .com – New Contact Me Page with Easy to use contact form, and Cool Sites pages with links to a few of my favorite web sites, Also New Forum page now available.
- Web Building 101 – Will be coming online as of July 1 2010 and will be a weekly tutorial to web site building starting from the basics, working all the way through advanced web site building and trouble shooting code to find problems.
So last week I look at reasons to get rid of my Facebook account this week I have decided to look at reasons to keep my Facebook account, I thought I would make a list of reasons so here it goes:
- Keeps in touch with Friends
- Great and easy way to Share Photos and more with Friends and Family
- Lots of fun games to play and waste time including my favourite games, Hotel City, and MyZoo
Wow that was a short list of reasons to keep my account, As this stage I have to admit deleting my account is winning, I never would have thought, But being me I will not rush into it and delete my account, I will think about it over the next few weeks, If you can come with any more reasons to Keep or Delete a Facebook account feel free to add them as a comment.
Of recent weeks, I have be evaluating whether or not I want to keep my Facebook account, With different privacy concerns appearing nearly every week and the ever changing and confusing Privacy Policy it leaves me to wonder do I really Trust Facebook any more or I would be happier without it.

As most people have probably herd in the last week a NASA Balloon crashed in Australia when they attempted to launch it, No one was hurt or injured which is good news, But it does make we wonder how can they launch a rocket a simple thing like a Balloon can go so wrong.

Wow it is now May, The weather is getting Cooler (YAY Cold Weather) and hours of daylight is getting less. These are all good things except when life keeps getting busier.
Over the last couple of weeks at work I have being increasing my hours slowly in preparation for when a co worker leaves so I can take over there job as well of mine which should be ok but after only doing so few hours (15 hours a week) for the last year it is a bit of a shock to the system when I started to increase hours as of the end of next week I will be working 24 – 30 hours a week which is nearly double what I am doing at the moment.
As well work life has being busy my Dog (maggie) had hip surgery about 6 weeks ago and as a result of this she has required physio (YES dog Physio) which seems to be helping she is getting more and more movement back and is starting to use the leg more and more often both of which are great signs.
Tonight I managed to Kill my blackberry (507 Error) for those who don’t know basically I killed the operating system on the phone and has to reset the phone and reinstall the operating system to get it working again. The Good News is it is now working again, and has most of the data and information back on it a couple of application which have not being reinstalled yet but I will do that over the next few days,
I took this change to update to version 5.0 of the Blackberry OS and my first impressions are good it seems to be overall a bit quicker time will tell if it is as reliable and easy to use, I will give further feedback over the coming weeks.
In my spare time (What Little I have had) I have being working on a few projects which will start to come online in the next few weeks once I have had added the finishing touches,
Over a third of the year has now gone and in another 2 months we will be half way through the year this is exciting as I have the month of July off Work on Annual Leave at this stage am hoping t go away over to the US and Canada, Will have to wait and see if finances allow this in the next week or 2.
I might leave this post for now and get organized for tomorow as I need to leave home at 7am in the morning to get to work for 8am.
